Here’s a message that’s gonna be aimed at and hit most of you that play slots. We’ve all been guilty of this massive display of stupidity. It has to do with betting down to the last coin when we play slots. What idiotic reasons are behind people making this move? Listen to these statements:
Hey, it could be the start of a scorching run;
Hey, it’s just another coin;
I didn’t feel like putting it back in my pocket;
It’s only a quarter.
These reasons were not given by a group of four-year-olds, although the analogy makes it sound like it was uttered by:
A room of idiots;
A couple of kids who failed kindergarten;
A tree full of monkeys.
No, they were given by people with less intelligence than the three examples previously mentioned. They were uttered by Slots players. That’s right. People who play slots.
Yeah, they sound so stupid when you jot them down on a piece of paper, yet you’ll get that type of reasoning day after day.
For just this reason, I gave you Naked Pulls and Naked Numbers and Loss Limits. It puts a stop on losses when you play slots and restricts you from pouring too many coins into a cold machine.
But even for the thousands of people who won’t accept my Naked Pulls and Loss Limits, don’t fall into the trap of betting down to your last few coins when you play slots.
I see people at the table games falling prey to this move.
They buy in at a Blackjack table with $100 and bet right down to that last chip. Do they really think that last chip is gonna recoup all those previous 19 lost chips? Don’t be silly.
Remember that old commercial about a coffee that was good right to the last drop? I can buy that.
But your chances of winning back all your losses ain’t a good move down there at that last chip. Save the money to get yourself a hot cup of coffee. It’ll do you more good than the fairy tale you think is gonna be sprung with your final play.
Give this message a second thought. Zero in on the Loss Limits I advise. What a gigantic turnabout you’ll be in for if you can cut your losses – and this is one of the places to start!
